DTN for Beginners Info

At this morning’s webinar, some attendees asked basic questions about InterPlanetary Networking and Delay & Disruption Tolerant Networking (DTN). I promised them I would make a blog posting today listing where they could get some basic information about.

A brief description of the networking constraints that exist in space, and how DTN addresses them can be had here: http://ipnsig.org/2019/05/07/dtn-motivation-for-space-communications/

A good, easily accessible place to start would be perusing these video resources I listed in a blog posting last year: http://ipnsig.org/2019/04/29/ipn-video-resources/

For a more technical introduction to DTN, please see the latest DTN Tutorial document: DTN_Tutorial_v3.2

Hope this helps.
